Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

We’re way over Facebook’s “25 Random Things About Me” buzz. We’re on to “5 Things That Prove I’m a Craftaholic.”

Our five?

1. We own not one but two glue guns. And we’ve got the burn scars to prove it.

2. We have a big cabinet full of craft supplies that we don’t share with our children. (They have their own.)

3. The number of projects we’ve bought supplies for exceeds the number we’ve actually made. By a lot.

4. We can find our jumbo file folder filled with project inspirations in a heartbeat. Our file for income tax records? — that’s another story.

5. One certain mother was beginning to worry about one certain marriage because one daughter was always sneaking things home from Michaels.

Now it’s your turn. By midnight Monday, send your “5 things” to our friend Henrietta on her Facebook page (chicagotribune.com/henrietta). We’ll pick one reader to receive two complimentary tickets to hear Martha Stewart speak at The Merchandise Mart International Antiques Fair on Friday.

But wait, there’s more. The winner will also get to meet Martha after her lecture.

Martha’s excited about her Chicago visit, she told us by phone as she traveled through Texas last week. She plans to discuss the major role that antiques have played in her life — including playing muse for crafts projects and new products. “We were just in Sag Harbor last week, for example, and we went to a little linen shop, Carol O’Neill Fine Linens,” she said. “I found a pair of vintage silk bedspreads. They were creamy silk appliqued with beautiful shapely pink bows. I know that bow — the shape of the bow — there is nothing quite like it in the marketplace, and it would make a beautiful sheet pattern, a new Martha Stewart bow.”

Fans can expect to see that vintage bow pattern on new Martha Stewart sheets in the not-too-distant future.

Now if you aren’t picked to meet Martha at the antiques fair and are intent on meeting the queen of craft, we’ve got a suggestion: Head over to Macy’s on State Street, where at 1 p.m. Friday Martha will be signing copies of her new “Martha Stewart’s Encyclopedia of Crafts” (Potter Craft, 415 pages, $35) and her “Martha Stewart’s Cooking School” (Clarkson Potter/Publishers, 512 pages, $45).

Then, by May 15, post pictures of a project that you’ve tried from “Encyclopedia of Crafts” on Henrietta@Home. Martha will help us judge and pick a favorite. The winner will get an autographed copy of her “Cooking School.”

You’ve got two weeks. Get crafting.
