Spaghetti is one of those meals that pleases just about everybody regardless of age. And why not? Every Day is Spaghetti Day. It tastes great; each recipe is just a little bit different from the next so there’s always a hint of variety; and it’s slightly messy. This event takes that love and turns it into a fun afternoon event for the 3- to 5-year old set (along with their caregivers). Of course, food is not allowed in the library, so all the spaghetti affection comes in the form of stories, games and crafts. Prepare a steaming batch of noodles and sauce for dinner later in the evening, because this event guarantees a craving for spaghetti. 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. Monday, 95th Street Library, 3015 Cedar Glade Drive, Naperville. Free; 630-961-4100 or naperville-lib.org.
