‘Body of War’

6 p.m., Sundance Channel

Kansas City’s Tomas Young enlisted shortly after Sept. 11, 2001, and after being in Iraq for less than a week, a bullet in the spine left him paralyzed from the chest down. This acclaimed film by Ellen Spiro and Phil Donahue (yes, the former talk-show host, above) captures the challenging reality of Young’s life, and also documents his new purpose as an anti-war activist. Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder provided two of the soundtrack’s songs.
