Baring all in the war against global warming, an Elgin-based environmental group has released a nude calendar titled: “Is it Just Me … Or Is It Getting Warmer?”
“How do you grab somebody’s attention?” asked Sigi Psimenos, Miss September. “You get a bunch of people together and have them take off their clothes.”

Psimenos took off hers at the local farmer’s market, pulling an eco-friendly shopping bag around her shoulder to shield her midriff.
As co-chairwoman of the Elgin Climate Change Organization, she coaxed a group of her green friends, ages 40 to 93, to wear nothing but a smile for a not-too-naughty calendar with an Earth-friendly message. The group tries to educate the community on simple ways to lessen the impact of global warming.
