Ed Sherman wraps up the weekend:
Phil Mickelson: Made a birdie from the trees on the final hole to win the Colonial. Picked up some early momentum for the U.S. Open.
Rod Pampling: Hung tough but wasn’t tough enough to beat Mickelson.
Jay Haas: Survived the meat-grinder that was Oak Hill to win the Senior PGA at 7 over.
Greg Norman: Good to see Norman’s name on the leaderboard again, even if it didn’t stay there long. He finished tied for sixth in the Senior PGA.
Leta Lindley: Won the Corning Classic to show that the LPGA Tour has other winners besides Lorena Ochoa and Annika Sorenstam.
