Cover boy Ryan Seacrest tells Details magazine in its April issue that he just doesn’t have time for relationships.
And who could blame him? Between hosting “On Air With Ryan Seacrest,” “American Idol” and “E! News,” the face of pop culture can’t possibly have time to date. Especially not when America needs a red-carpet barker or a go-to MC on New Year’s Eve.
But single is single. And RedEye has the prescription for Seacrest’s chronic case of bacheloritis. Here, a look at the ladies who we think would make Seacrest a happy man.
THE BACHELORETTES
Kelly Clarkson
“Idol” connection: The original “American Idol,” Clarkson pocketed two Grammys after winning the reality singing competition in 2002, its debut year.
Pro: She’s a pop icon, something Seacrest can appreciate.

Con: She can be feisty — remember the flap over the rollout of her “My December” album? She could dump Seacrest faster than she did her former manager.
Rihanna
“Idol” connection: She’s got pipes, but she didn’t need to win a contest for the world to know about it.
Pro: Her trend-setting ability — particularly with hair styles — could be a boon for the ever-stylish Seacrest.
Con: She’s a young’n, and she’s rumored to be kiss-kissing with R&B artist Chris Brown.
Britney Spears
“Idol” connection: She was the superstar all the “Idol” contestants want to be.
Pro: Spears commands a paparazzi army, which would be great exposure for Seacrest, who always seems to be looking to be a part of the next big media event.
Con: Hmmm … where do we begin?
Lindsay Lohan
“Idol” connection: None whatsoever.
Pro: Her experience in transitioning from Disney-movie good girl to post- “Mean Girls” party animal could prove handy for Seacrest should he ever want to switch up his image.
Con: Lohan says she cleaned up her act, but her wild past could come back to haunt a relationship.
Lauren Conrad
“Idol” connection: Her nemesis from “The Hills,” Heidi Montag, was spotted at a recent “Idol” taping.
Pro: Conrad is career-focused, just like Seacrest, so there’s a good chance they wouldn’t get in each other’s way.
Con: She likes the bad boys. And on a scale of one to bad, Seacrest is like a negative 10.
