Spanish league powerhouse Barcelona is in talks to play a game in Chicago this summer. According to a source, Barcelona will face an international team at Soldier Field. A match between Barcelona and the New York Red Bulls on Aug. 7 at Giants Stadium is also in the works.

“We are almost sure we will go to the States,” Barcelona spokesman Jose Miguel Teres told the New York Times. “It is 99 percent, unless something strange happens. Probably Chicago and New York. We are now finishing the contracts.”

The match in Chicago would mark Ronaldinho’s second visit to Chicago in a year. The icon helped Brazil defeat the U.S. 4-2 on Sept. 9 at Soldier Field.
