The Knicks are so pitiful that more New Yorkers rally behind the Boston Red Sox than Isiah Thomas’ losing team.

Only 2 percent of New Yorkers call the Knicks their favorite team, a new Siena College poll shows. The Red Sox found greater support in enemy territory with 3 percent of New Yorkers calling the baseball world champions their favorite.

“People really aren’t happy with the Knicks,” said Dr. Don Levy, director of Siena College’s research institute.

The Knicks finished well behind the Yankees, which led the survey with 27 percent, the Mets and Giants — and were even lower than the Buffalo Bills and Sabres.
