Please enjoy my scarf. In a shared closet in an office, it’s difficult to discern one scarf from another, even when it is hanging with the owner’s coat. Understandable.
And although the thin, tatty … um … replacement with the ripped tag that was left, all by its lonesome on a completely different hanger, is appreciated, it is about 14 steps lower in quality than the one keeping you toasty. No worries. Consider it my helping a colleague appreciate the finer things.
Should you discover your error and want to return it, don’t — it has been on a strange neck, and communal clothing is icky.
