ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign said Friday evening that it was rolling back out one of its biggest weapons: Oprah.

The media magnate, who campaigned for him in three early voting states last fall and helped raise $3 million, is expected to campaign Sunday in her second-home state of California with Obama’s wife, Michelle.

Details are still being worked out, but the appearance will be in the Los Angeles area and will also include Caroline Kennedy, according to Obama’s traveling press secretary Jen Psaki.

California is the biggest prize among the 22 states that will hold Democratic primaries or caucuses on Tuesday. Obama also won the endorsement of the state’s largest newspaper, the Los Angeles Times, Friday afternoon.
