HANOVER, N.H.–Barack Obama just took the stage for a morning get-out-the-vote rally at Dartmouth College’s Alumni Gymnasium. And watching from the back of the gym, chewing gum and pacing back and forth with arms crossed, is Larry David, the cantankerous and curmudgeonly lead character from HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
David said he expected to be calling Obama supporters today to urge them to turn out to vote.
“Then they can hang up on me the way I hang up on them when they call me,” David said.
He arrived in New Hampshire yesterday and spent the evening talking with students at Dartmouth on behalf of Obama, David said.
