“Lost” fans need not wait for the 2008 season for more clues to unravel the mysteries of the hit TV series.

ABC has been posting weekly 2- to 3-minute video shorts every Monday at abc.com as part of a 13-week promotion called “Lost: Missing Pieces.”

Although the clips don’t advance the plot, each snippet gives viewers a never-aired scene that may unlock clues as to what’s happening on the island. In one episode, titled “King of the Castle,” Ben assures Jack over a game of chess that he’s sticking to their “deal.” In another episode, Hurley has a heated exchange about Libby with a character named Neil.
