Chi McBride has a plea for the Chicago Bulls: Please don’t trade for troubled Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant. That’s all the Chicago actor wanted to talk about when we called him a few days ago to talk about his critically acclaimed show “Pushing Daisies” being picked up by ABC for a full season. A lifelong Bulls fan, McBride doesn’t think it’s a good idea for the team to bring Bryant here, as has been rumored. “That’s the worst thing that could ever happen,” the actor told Armour & Co. “It would completely throw the chemistry off. Look, Kobe is a great player but Kobe will never be beloved because there’s nobody in the world that’s more important than Kobe thinks he is.” Ouch.
