Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is apparently a cousin of that nemesis of political liberals, Vice President Dick Cheney.
Or so says Lynne Cheney, wife of the vice president.
“One of the things I discovered was that Dick and Barack Obama are eighth cousins,” Cheney said in an interview today with MSNBC host Norah O’Donnell.
“Is that an amazing thing?” the vice president’s wife noted. “If you go back eight generations, we have a common ancestor.”
