The Republican National Committee has unveiled its new logo for the party’s convention next summer in Minneapolis-St.Paul.
It’s a serviceable logo, not highly designed or stylized, featuring the party’s trademark elephant. The RNC’s press release says it’s a “triumphant” elephant. But it could just as easily pass for a dancing circus elephant. Or a sidewalk chalk outline of a dead elephant. Only Election Day 2008 will determine which it really is.
