The Chicago Children’s Choir chose Helen Eaton to be its next president and executive director. Eaton, who has been dean of programs at Merit School of Music, is to succeed Christina Deaton DeMarea on Nov. 5. DeMarea has been with the choir 10 years, the last three as chief.
