If you’re looking for eco-friendly gear or gifts for a little one, you can do your shopping in just one spot.

The shop: Charis Irving and her husband, Russell Rice, christened their shop Tink-Tinks (1104 Davis St., Evanston, 847-869-6405), the nickname of their 2-year-old son, Eric.

Why it’s hot: You can nurture babies with lots of tender loving green care with chemical-free glass baby bottles ($10.99), soft cloth adjustable snap-on diapers in luscious pastels ($12.50 each) and organic skin-care products ($13-$15). Organic-fiber T-shirts in solids and stripes and classic toys such as stacking rings ($4.99) and wooden puzzles with big knobs for little fingers ($9.99-$19.99) make great gifts. Moms will find nursing covers in pretty fabrics ($35) and sling baby carriers ($55). Dads will like the diaper bags in dark colors that look like messenger bags ($86) and the backpack baby carrier designed for comfort ($92).

What it’s not: If you’re looking for toys inspired by TV shows or Hollywood movies or ones with lots of bells and whistles and computer chips, you won’t find them here.

Bottom line: Irving has an eye for selecting green products that blend a stylish aura with a practical purpose.
