Actor Ben Foster became fast friends with Russell Crowe during filming of “3:10 to Yuma.”
“He’s one of the great actors that we have,” Foster said of his co-star. “He does have a reputation that has been threatening, but he’s been so misrepresented.”
Foster said Crowe can be intense, but for good reason.
“It can be misinterpreted as egocentric or overly moody, but he’s just the real deal,” Foster said. “If you’re just running your mouth, you two aren’t going to be pals. But he took tremendous time and care with me. He would take me on weekends, to make sure I felt good on a horse.”
