Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

We aren’t prepared to say that the NBA’s former “Bad Boy” Dennis Rodman has toned down his act. He is, after all, hosting “Geek to Freak,” a new weekly reality show that airs Fridays on HDNet. And the premise of the show is for the former Bulls forward–and cross-dresser and wrestler and party animal–to teach nerds how to be strange like him.

But get this: Rodman is now a soccer dad. That’s right–a soccer dad. He regularly takes his 5-year-old son D.J. and 4-year-old daughter Trinity to practice in his Newport Beach, Calif., neighborhood.

“I was just at a soccer game for the kids,” Rodman told Armour & Co. when we caught up with him a few days ago. “I walked onto the field and people said, `Dennis, what are you doing here–do you have any kids here?'”

The flamboyant Rodman, 45, tells us that’s just the way life is for the Worm these days.

“I can be a family man every once in a while,” said Rodman, whose oldest daughter Alexis is now in college. “I do have responsibilities in my life. Everything is cool.”

Yeah, until something breaks out at the next PTA meeting.
