The 22-month wait is over. I’m just days from becoming a mother. My husband, my dad and I boarded a plane last week, heading to China to adopt my baby girl, Athena Jean Ni-Ou. Gotcha Day, the day I first hold Athena in my arms, is sometime this week.
I will send an update soon to Q. In the meantime, follow my husband and me as we meet Athena for the first time and navigate the adoption process in China.
