A four-car crash snarled the morning commute in Naperville Thursday and sent three people to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
Naperville police said the crash at Washington Street and Sycamore Drive occurred a few minutes after 8 a.m. when a car tried to turn left in heavy traffic.
Edwin Stephens, 42, Naperville was cited for failing to yield. Police said Stephens was headed east on Sycamore in his 2000 Honda Civic and tried to turn on to Washington when the accident occurred.
Police said a 2003 Acura struck Stephens’ Civic, causing the Acura into the oncoming lane of traffic, where it sideswiped one car and was struck by another, police said.
