A 3 1/2-year-old visitor went right for Dr. Fresh’s Float’n Fire Fly toothbrush as it sat amid other goodies (kids books, a plastic crab, oodles of makeup) on a certain Q editor’s desk.

The little girl couldn’t even wait until she got back to her auntie’s house. She wanted to test it–now.

She eagerly used her new toothbrush in the employee restroom.

She loved pushing the bottom, causing the brush to light up (it lights up for about 60 seconds to encourage kids to brush longer).

In fact, she loved it so much, she brushed her teeth three more times before she went to bed. After a week, she was still excited to push the button and brush.

The toothbrush, available in pink, green or blue, is $2.99 at most drugstores.

Update: Several months later, and that little girl (now 4) has moved on . . . to a motorized Dora the Explorer toothbrush. The Church & Dwight Co. SpinBrush toothbrush sells for around $5.99 to $7.99 at most drugstores.
