Latter-day honky-tonk duo Lynda Kay Parker and Danny B. Harvey have been called the White Stripes of country. Their sound is energetic, lusty and slightly satirical while still putting across a convincing sense of heartache. And Lynda’s ancestry, which includes outlaw Bonnie Parker (of “… and Clyde” infamy) and Commanche Chief Quanah Parker, seems to have left her with just the right amount of rebel DNA an insurgent country wildcat should have.
