When he heard the Bears were up 41-0 on San Francisco at halftime, Miami defensive end Kevin Carter had the same reaction as fans, 49ers and even Bears players: “Wow.”
But after having that show up on his off week, Carter has no more interest in that game than do the Bears.
“I don’t really care who gives us what odds or whatever,” Carter told the Palm Beach Post. “It’s not going to affect the way I play. It’s not like I’m going out on the practice field and saying, `Oh the mighty Bears; we’re going to get beat.’
“Who cares? I don’t care about them. I don’t care what their record is or how they’re supposed to be great.”
