Who’s in it: Taylor Handley, Gina Bellman, Dustin Seavey, Alison Folland, Rebecca Mozo and Marieh Delfino
What it’s about: Luke’s (Handley) first sexual encounter triggers his “rare genetic condition,” called zerophilia, that allows him to change his sex. His friends and doctor debate which sex he should be, while he considers whether as a man he should pursue Michelle (Mozo), or turn into Luca (Delfino) and go for Michelle’s brother.
Worth watching? (star)(star)
“‘Zerophilia’ boasts a very attractive cast and virtually no shame about being totally nuts. The title “condition,” whose sufferers can change their sex at will, offers a few salient notions about the nature of human sexuality, but matters are ultimately stretched further than a sumo wrestler’s bra strap.”
