“Lost” doled out a few new clues in its season premiere Wednesday: We learned that Ben, the character formerly known as Henry Gale, is not gentle at all.
As the leader of the Others, Ben (Gale was just a pseudonym) not only terrorized the crash survivors last season, he and his gloomy gang captured Jack, Sawyer and Kate as Season 2 closed.

The season-opener found Jack in a cell in an underwater facility, where an Other named Juliet attempted to befriend him, and revealed that the group apparently had compiled a thick dossier on the doctor.
The intense season premiere gave fans plenty to chew on. Is the mysterious Dharma Initiative still going, or, as Juliet said, did it peter out “a long time ago”?
