Walter Van Allen, 17, and Jesse Mauer, 17, both of the 800 block of Wisconsin Road in New Lenox and a 16-year old boy were picked up between 2 and 4 a.m. Tuesday and formally charged later that day, New Lenox Police Chief Dan Martin said.
Van Allen and Mauer are being held at the Will County Adult Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing. The juvenile was released into the custody of his parents, Martin said.
The alleged incidents occurred on July 27, Aug. 8 and Aug. 12 in the Wildwood and Arrow Haven subdivisions. The damages include slashed trampolines and car tires, damage to a hot tub, broken windows and eight swimming pools torn with a sharp object in their sidewalls, Martin said.
