Developers eyeing Hoffman Estates as a potential business spot soon will get a taste of what the village has to offer.

This week, the Village Board approved a marketing contract with Schaumburg-based KRT Productions Inc./Tom Rivera & Associates LLC to showcase economic development.

Brochures, videos and an enhanced village Web site will target prospective businesses, Village Manager James Norris said.

That includes the 11,000-seat Sears Centre Arena, under construction, and Cabela’s Inc., a retail store that sells outdoor gear that could open in 2007.
