Kubiak’s past favors Young

New Houston coach Gary Kubiak will make the call on whether the Texans select USC running back Reggie Bush or Texas quarterback Vince Young with the No. 1 pick in the draft. His track record with Denver suggests quarterbacks are more valuable than running backs. Here’s Green Bay general manager Ted Thompson’s take on Young: “The more I watch him now, the more I realize that I haven’t seen anyone quite like him. Usually when you’re scouting a player, you think to yourself, `He reminds me of so-and-so.’ But in this case, Young doesn’t remind me of anyone. He just seems to be one of a kind.”
