The corner near the Michigan Avenue entrance to Johnson Publishing Co. headquarters is to bear a new honorary street sign–John H. Johnson Avenue–to commemorate the late founder of that publishing, cosmetics and fashion firm.
The company, at 820 S. Michigan Ave., said the sign is to be unveiled Monday at 8th Street and Michigan. Johnson died Aug. 8 of heart failure at age 87.
