After vaulting over a mountain of paperwork, nurses at Edward Hospital in Naperville have won a “gold medal” for their care.
The nurses were honored last week by the American Nurses Credentialing Center of the American Nurses Association. Edward was one of only eight hospitals nationwide to receive the designation this year.
To be designated a Magnet honoree, Edward had to submit more than 2,000 documents demonstrating adherence to more than 60 criteria of excellence in patient care and nursing professionalism.
