Users of DirecTV will get an early look at the broadcast networks’ new shows for fall, thanks to an arrangement between the nets and satellite service.

Starting in August, the six networks, along with HBO and Showtime, will offer a half-hour program each week featuring highlights from their fall schedules. The shows will be placed on one of the service’s open channels or downloaded directly into integrated DirecTV-TiVo boxes.
