We Love Ourselves
a poem
When we first met it was love all at once
Boy heir, girl heiress, Greek guy meets dunce
We partied together like any young pair
New York and L.A, always by Lear
One Paris is beautiful, tall and so thin
So is the other, so both of us win

Two souls entwined, stronger than the sun’s ray
Oh, there will be a prenup; don’t get carried away
A healthy marriage, that is our mission
One without cameras equipped with night vision
We’re forgetting the past, as all of us should
Bye Rick Salomon, bye Nick Carter, bye half of Hollywood
Sure, marriage is hard; it can be tricky
Just ask what’s-his-butt and our little sister Nicky
But we’re soooo prepared for domestic paradise
And kids raised by the help and Botoxed once or twice
Our family owns hotels, we own an armada
There’s no doubt our first born will have to be Prada
Let’s hope he dresses like dad, and loves and cooks
And collects checks like mommy while others write her books
Sure, joke about our love and what it is worth
But do well to remember we inherited the earth
So now we can say, without being meek,
Our love is eternal, at least for this week
