The Anti-Cruelty Society is accepting entries for its fifth annual juried art show, “Animal Images.”
The work of about 100 local (possibly you) and nationally known artists will go up for sale in October during an artists reception at the society’s offices at 157 W. Grand Ave.
Last year’s opening night drew 300 to 400 people.
Submissions are not restricted to cats and dogs, but must have an animal theme, said society spokeswoman Courtney Kieba.
Categories include oil/acrylic; water-based media; mixed media; photography; and sculpture. But get painting, sculpting or snapping–the submission deadline is July 29.
Forms can be downloaded from www.anticruelty.org.
