Kelsey Grammer is reuniting–behind the camera–with two of “Frasier’s” former writers for a CBS pilot about a family of doctors, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Grammer will direct.
– Emmy winner Camryn Manheim will play a single mom who moves to a new neighborhood in an untitled pilot for the WB.
– At Fox, “Dirtbags” will revolve around a group of friends in a working-class suburb of Boston.
– Meanwhile, UPN is considering a pilot called “Wingwoman,” about a woman who helps guys meet women. Of course, the lead’s own love life is a mess.
– Former “24” evildoer Sarah Clarke is going back inside the halls of government to star opposite Benjamin Bratt in the NBC pilot “E-Ring,” a Jerry Bruckheimer-produced drama that chronicles the lives of Pentagon staffers.
– Over at CBS, Carla Gugino–former star of “Karen Sisco”–will star in “Threshold,” a drama that centers on a group of military personnel and scientists who make contact with aliens.
– ABC landed Natasha Henstridge (“She Spies”) for “Pros and Cons,” about a group of con artists working for the FBI.
– Judy Greer (“13 Going on 30”) has signed on to co-star with Tom Cavanagh in the CBS drama “Love Monkey” about a group of friends in various relationships.
– Dylan Baker (“Spider-Man 2”) has taken a part in NBC’s “Book of Daniel,” about a priest (played by Aidan Quinn) who literally talks to Jesus.
