Although their last comedy, “Happy Family,” failed to find any traction in its one season, NBC wants to stay in business with writers David Guarascio and Moses Port.

The network has given a cast-contingent pilot order to “Lies and the Wives We Tell Them To.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the relationship comedy focuses on four married best friends and covers the secrets and lies that fuel good and bad friendships and romances.

In addition to their work on “Happy Family,” Guarascio and Port have spent time in the NBC family working on “Just Shoot Me” and “Mad About You.”
