WHO’S IN IT: Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss
RECAP: Ten–yes, 10– DVDs featuring all three “Matrix” films and several related projects, plus more behind-the-scenes features than even these flicks really deserve.
BEST EXTRA: Creators Andy and Larry Wachowski include two commentary tracks for each installment, one from a pair of philosophers, the other from a trio of critics that didn’t like the films.
SECRETS REVEALED: Even at 10 discs, this set still doesn’t seem entirely comprehensive and revealing.
FEATURE TO SKIP: If you like any of this, you’ll love all of this.
TRIVIA: After the second film was released, Reeves rewarded the “Matrix” special effects team with multi-million dollar bonuses from his own pocket.
IF YOU LIKED THIS, TRY: “Hero,” far more artful (and ultimately more thoughtful) than the three “Matrix” movies, with less machine gun fire.

“The Bourne Supremacy”
Universal, $29.98
WHO’S IN IT: Matt Damon, Joan Allen, Brian Cox
RECAP: Damon returns as the amnesiac secret agent, this time dealing with the revelation of his cold-blooded identity as he traverses the globe in search of more answers.
BEST EXTRA: Brit director Paul Greengrass is bright and perceptive in his commentary track.
SECRETS REVEALED: For the film’s jam-dropping car chases, stunt drivers actually manned the cars from the roof so that it looked like the actors were in control as they played highway pinball.
FEATURE TO SKIP: The “explosive” deleted scenes are hardly explosive at all, featuring mainly brief blurbs of unnecessary exposition.
TRIVIA: Damon did many of his own stunts, including a leap from a bridge onto a barge.
IF YOU LIKED THIS, TRY: “Bloody Sunday,” Greengrass’ recreation of the 1972 Ulster riots.
