Playing in his final home game for Illinois, senior defensive back Taman Jordan made the game-ending interception in Saturday’s come-from-behind 26-22 victory over Indiana.
It was the first interception of Jordan’s career.
After surrendering 19 points in the first 7 minutes 36 seconds, the Illini defense held the Hoosiers to just a field goal the rest of the way.
“The defense did a great job,” coach Ron Turner said. “We weren’t giving up.”
