CBS is moving forward on at least its second divorce comedy.

The network has given a pilot commitment to “Will & Grace” writer-producer Kari Lizer’s script about a divorced mother. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lizer’s comedy deals with a woman living with her brother and trying to balance her job and getting her kid enrolled in a private school.

In addition, CBS set up a pilot from “Simpsons” scribe and “A.U.S.A.” creator Rich Appel focusing on two couples going through the early stages of divorce in very different ways.
