Two of the producers behind “American Chopper” are working on a new show for FX about used-car salesmen.

Hank Capshaw and C. Russell Muth, executive producers of the Discovery Channel hit, have sold a pilot presentation to FX for “Or Best Offer,” an unscripted series about a father and son who sell used vehicles.

“It’s a look into the world of used-car salesmen who are in search of the American dream in a depressed post-industrial town, only to find that the dream is rusty and broken down,” Eric Schrier, head of alternative series for FX, tells The Hollywood Reporter.
