Target Corp. is seeking approval to build a store in Oak Lawn, on 95th Street at Keeler Avenue where a Holiday Inn sits.
An initial meeting on the proposal called this week by Trustee Steven Rosenbaum drew mixed reaction from residents in the Crawford Gardens Subdivision, just north of the commercial property.
The hotel is expected to close next month after 36 years there.
A public hearing on the Target proposal is set for 8 p.m. Monday in Village Hall.
