Treddin’ on Thin Ice

Vocalist/producer Wiley is a product of Britain’s underground garage scene. But his beats, synths and delivery are ragged with the kinds of rough edges that have led some to dub his sub-genre “grime.” Certainly not everything on “Treddin on Thin Ice” is pretty and polished, but there are fun hooks to be found in deceptively chaotic tracks such as “Goin’ Mad.”
