Bolingbrook is hoping to pique other officials’ interest in the municipality’s desire to have a 138-bed hospital built in the village.

The Village Board this week passed a resolution asking for support of the proposed expansion to Bolingbrook Medical Center by Adventist Health System Midwest Region. The resolution will be forwarded to Gov. Rod Blagojevich, legislators and to members of the Will and DuPage County Boards.

The resolution calls for “the speedy approval of Adventist Hospital by the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board.”
