Jeff Buckley
Grace: Special Edition
Now that Jeff Buckley is renowned as some sort of genius, it’s no surprise that what little music he recorded in his all-too-short lifetime keeps getting revisited. Ten years after its original release, “Grace”–the only album Buckley released before his death in 1997–gets polished up for a new generation of fans and listeners fascinated by the singer’s hypnotic falsetto. The bonus tracks include takes on Big Star, Bob Dylan, the MC5 and Nina Simone that were staples of Buckley’s legendarily eclectic live sets.
