Dwight Yoakam

Dwight’s Used Records

This collection is Yoakam’s ninth compilation in 10 years–excessive by anyone’s standards, even if it does rope together some otherwise hard-to-find stuff. Fortunately, Yoakam rarely releases anything devoid of merit, and the material on “Dwight’s Used Records”–including collaborations with Ralph Stanley, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Deana Carter–is no exception. There’s more where this comes from, too, so expect a sequel.
