The Cure The Cure
The Cure has never released an album that wasn’t worth a listen. That said, Robert Smith has been playing up “The Cure” as some sort of return to form, and he does seem to be going for a grand statement. What we get is actually just another Cure album, and a fine one at that. Smith’s yelp is, well, yelpier than usual, but the band is in otherwise strong form, no small feat some 25 years since its debut.
