Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Your sickly lawn needs help. Fast.

Lawn expert Trey Rogers, a.k.a. the Yard Doctor (www.yard doctor.com), has a few suggestions:

– Your grass needs sunlight to grow. Check that trees aren’t shading too much of your lawn.

– Water your lawn in the early morning before the sun robs it of moisture. And be sure that your grass is getting one to two inches of water per week.

– Fertilize your lawn according to your type of grass. And do not overfertilize, which could harm your lawn and the environment.

– Leave mulched grass clippings and tree leaves on your lawn. They provide nutrients to your lawn.
