It takes guts to name a magazine after what a leaking boat does, but the June/July inaugural issue of Sync magazine is so packed with cool gadgets, we have to think it will stay afloat for quite a while.
Using the tried and true formula of gadgets, gear, gadgets, gear–oh, there’s a woman–gadgets, gear, the techno-lifestyle magazine takes a street-level, rather than lab-coat, approach to product testing. All in all, it’s very accessible.
But the neatest little thing that caught our eye was a letter titled “Cheat Your Boss Out of Man-Hours” from a guy raving about the Simeda SounderCover for his cell phone (www.simeda.com). Seems that he can add background noise, such as a traffic jam, to bolster his otherwise lame excuses for being late.
