Blondie

The Curse of Blondie

After 1999’s horrible comeback disc “No Exit,” Blondie had nowhere to go but up. The aptly named “The Curse of Blondie”–which debuted overseas before belatedly getting a Stateside release–is hardly a great album. But then, most of Blondie’s albums weren’t terribly great, as the group was always more of a singles act. As an excuse to tour again, Blondie could also do a lot worse, but why anyone would reach for this over their classic debut or “Parallel Lines” is another matter.
