One reason nearly 20 million people tune in to “The Apprentice” each week is that the show provides realistic lessons about surviving in the corporate jungle. Between running his luxurious hotels, lavish resorts and countless properties, The Donald took a few moments to talk about the show’s success and the free business lessons he’s giving America.
On handling conflict: Life is loaded up with conflict, but it’s also loaded up with victory and defeat. You have to be able to go on to the next battle without letting it get you down.
On the show’s women using their sexuality to get ahead: Some egghead at Yale wrote an article about how terrible it was that the women were using sex on the show. He’s, like, in a cocoon. You think in the real world women aren’t using sex? You’ve got to use what God’s given you, and that’s what God has given them.
On the women being more emotional: That’s hurt them. Omarosa brought out a lot of the emotion among the women. She was very smart and very crafty.
On what “The Apprentice” is teaching America: Each individual show has a lesson. There’s a lesson on loyalty, there’s a lesson on going to the top. It’s telling people that business can be tough, it can be rough, but it’s also telling them don’t give up.
